GSM Gate Controller 12V (GSM2-DC)

This GSM Controller allows opening or closing your gate by any pre setup mobile phones from anywhere with GSM coverage. It doesn't cost call charges to the mobile phones, which are set up to open or close the gate. Power supply to the controller is 12V DC and comes in a sealed box.

Activated (currently in operation with enough credit) SIM card needs to be fitted inside the unit. You have a password to access when programming. That means gate cannot be opened by other mobile phones (which are not set up to work) even they find out the phone number of the SIM card in the controller.

Programming is done by SMS Texting or set up is easily done using a laptop connected to USB port with optional USB Module, Cables and Software. You can enable or disable mobile phones at any time.

This also has facility to send alarm signals to pre programmed cell phones by Text. For an example you can set up a photo beam inside your property and when beam is crossed or Burglar Alarm activation, a text message will be sent to those pre programmed mobile phones. Vodafone SIM card works well with this set up.

Programming with computer has many facilities including followings.

1. Allow the user to open the gate from a time of the a day to a different time of another day
2. Allow the user to open the gate from a date to another date
3. Allow the user to open the gate for number of times only

What is the maximum working distance?

GSM Controller doesn't have limitations like a normal remote control. Using a mobile phone you can open from very far away, even from another city.
It is really convenient to arrive in front of your house when the gate is already open, without having to wait in the middle of the road.

How can I enable different phone numbers to open my gate?

To store a number, you simply send an SMS that starts with a password to GSM Controller, indicating the phone number to enable, and its position in the list.
Numbers are stored in GSM Controller memory and not on the SIM. This prevents somebody from removing the SIM to copy all the numbers into a mobile phone.
Only the one who knows the password can insert or delete enabled phone numbers.

How many different phones can open my gate?

GSM Controller accepts up to 200 full numbers, in additional 40 special phone numbers available that allow entrance to the building by time and days of the week...

What else do I need besides GSM Controller?

You need only a valid SIM card. Install GSM Controller, insert SIM, program enabled numbers and you are ready to go.
